Charitable giving has been an essential aspect in the support of the Carol Woods community since our founders wrote personal checks for seed money to start the campus more than 40 years ago.
Today, residents and community members continue their commitment to Carol Woods’ mission by giving to the Carol Woods Charitable Fund. This generosity enhances the lives of our residents and our staff as well as the lives of seniors in the larger community.
Established in 2006 by the Carol Woods Board of Directors, the Charitable Fund supports the mission of Carol Woods. It provides financial assistance to residents who experience an unexpected need, supports resident-run programs, improves our campus and helps facilitate our staff's personal and professional development. Our mission also embraces the needs of the larger community and supports progress in the field of aging.
