Fresh. Quality. Diverse. These are the ingredients of the Carol Woods dining experience.
Our in-house dining staff is committed to delivering a variety of delicious and nutritious meals. The Carol Woods dining philosophy is to keep recipes simple so the true flavors of the quality ingredients are revealed.
Carol Woods residents dine in a casual atmosphere of great friends and engaging conversation. The waitstaff is composed of an excellent service team that truly enhances the dining experience for the many residents and their guests.
Menus are created by a registered dietitian and influenced by the Resident Dining Committee. Considerations for heart-healthy, high-fiber, low-sodium and vegetarian selections are an important focus of many community residents and are noted on weekly dining menus.
The Carol Woods dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. As part of the monthly service fee, residents receive 30 meal credits monthly to be used in the main dining room.
The main dining room offers flexible dining options, including self-service and waited table service. The Carvery provides buffet-style dining and take-out service for all three meals, whereas the Magnolia Room is designed for full table service and includes a chef's special offered at many of the evening meals. Four private dining rooms line the perimeter of the dining area and are also available for resident private dining use and Lunch ’N Learn presentations.
The Dining Department offers a full array of catering services for small and large events in the dining room or on-site in resident homes. Outdoor patio dining is another unique option available, weather permitting. Wine and beer selections are also available.
