Philosophy of Care | Assisted Living | Health Center | Clinic | HIPAA | Mission Statement

Assisted Living is available to Carol Woods’ residents who need help with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing or taking medications. Carol Woods residents can choose from two assisted living options: Central Assisted Living Apartments or Garden Assisted Living.

In an effort to create an integrated campus across levels of health care, several administrative offices are located within the Central Assisted Living building, including Human Resources and Social Work. It also houses the campus fitness center, salon, and art exhibit hallways.

In assisted living, each resident has a private apartment and enjoys three meals per day in any of the dining rooms on campus. Pets are welcome in assisted living, and residents bring their own furniture and possessions with them.

Garden Assisted Living opened in 2002, and consists of 9,000 square-foot garden homes that adjoin the Carol Woods Children’s Center. These homes are each shared by twelve residents who have a private bedroom and bathroom, but share common space such as a living room, dining room, kitchen and large porch area.
