DEPARTMENT OF NURSING

This department's staff assists residents in the health center and buildings designated as Adult Care Homes or Assisted Living. All positions in these departments have common requirements. We are looking for those who have:
- The passion for the care of the older adult;
- The ability to remain calm and reassuring to residents and/or others in an emergency or very busy time.
- The willingness to smile and greet people in a positive way;
- The flexibility when on the spot changes may be necessary for resident care purposes;
- The willingness to seek help from others when needed to solve concerns in a positive manner and; and
- The ability to admit an error and learn from it.
We staff three eight-hour shifts each day: Day Shift 7AM to 3:30PM; Evening Shift 3PM to 11:30PM; and Night Shift 11PM to 7:30AM. All shifts provide differential pay in addition to the base hourly rate on weekends and holidays; Evening and Night Shifts also provide a weekday differential. |

BUSINESS SERVICES SPECIALIST
The Business Services Specialist will support the business functions of Carol Woods. Duties include:
- Preparation of residents' monthly bills
- Census reporting
- Insurance verification for Health Center residents
- Assist CFO with projects and report preparation
- Assist with cash receipts and accounts payable
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in accounting or in a corporate business office; proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Qualified applications are detail oriented, organized, customer focused, and able to work as part of a team.
Full Time: 80 hours per pay period |

| EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT |
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
The Executive Assistant will report directly to the President and CEO.Work will consist of supporting the President in all administration functions, including but not limited to: public relations, scheduling, correspondence, office management, special project, and event planning.
Primary Responsiblities:
- Interface with members of the board, residents and employees;
- Prepare presentations;
- Coordinate meetings, feedback surveys, reports and facility tours;
- Perform general administrative duties;
- Arrange and coordinate travel and itineraries, meetings, corporate functions and conferences;
- Take minutes at various meetings throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be naturally self-motivated and highly organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities/projects in a busy office with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years administrative experience

| WELL BEING DEPARTMENT |
LIFE ENRICHMENT FACILITATOR
This role improves the quality of life of residents in Assisted Living and the Health Center by facilitating opportunity for meaningful engagement and creating an environment to support it. The Life Enrichment Facilitator is responsible for assessing residents’ individualized interests, abilities and needs for satisfying participation in meaningful, enjoyable activities and coordinating events, staff, volunteers, supplies/equipment and other resources to address these needs. This includes MDS assessment and care planning. The position also coordinates volunteer placement within Life Enrichment, eg. connecting external and resident volunteers with Health Center and Assisted Living residents for companionship, assisting with group activities, etc.
Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Activities Director/Professional or related training/experience required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
Full Time: 80 hours per pay period
Schedule includes some Saturdays and holidays |

STAFF EDUCATION COORDINATOR
Position Objectives: This key role is responsible for facility wide staff education. This includes conducting training needs assessments, curriculum design, facilitation, and follow up assessment. The Staff Education Coordinator provides educational opportunities that are appropriate to the level of participants, motivating, and inclusive.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs assessments
- Design, write, and revise curriculum that meets the organization’s needs
- Facilitate monthly New Hire Orientation and mandated in-services
- Consult with co-workers, subject matter experts, and department directors to develop course objectives, content, and practice activities to support training requirements
- Provide writing, formatting and proofing of materials, ensuring logical flow of information
- Function as an educational resource for all departments
- Manage CPR certification program
Requirements:
- BA or BS degree, preferably in Adult Education, Organizational Development, or equivalent with 2+ years experience in instructional design and facilitation
- Demonstrated mastery of instructional course design method focusing on the needs of the adult learner.
- Must have excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and follow through.
- Must have the ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as collaborate with teams
- Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation and classroom facilitation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
