Charitable giving has been a vital source of support for Carol Woods since the days when our founders wrote personal checks to start the community. Carol Woods strives to provide quality services in up-to-date facilities on a beautiful campus at affordable fees. Some of the financial strength that Carol Woods enjoys today is attributable to the generosity of people who have made generous donations to the Charitable Fund.

Various funds have been established within the Charitable Fund for donors who wish to designate their gifts. Gifts to the Fund provide support for things such as growth of resident and employee assistance funds, investment in the facilities, and enhancements to gardens and grounds.

Over the last several years, funds have been donated to establish a Resident Rose Garden, design and furnish the Post Oak Garden, purchase new chairs and a baby grand piano for the Assembly Hall, and develop the Carol Woods Dog Park.
