MAINTENANCE AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performs duties as a plumber throughout the community as needed
- Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
- Performs maintenance, preventive maintenance, and/or repairs as needed.
- Maintains and repairs exterior surroundings as necessary.
- Makes periodic tests of fire alarms and generators, maintains records of tests.
- Accepts on-call duty on a rotating basis for general repairs.
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education:
- High school graduate required
- Licensed Plumber
Experience:
- General knowledge and a minimum of 3 years experience in the area of plumbing
- General maintenance experience a plus
Full Time 80 hours per pay period
