WELL-BEING DEPARTMENT
The Well-Being Department is seeking an Administrative Coordinator. This department provides Assisted Living services, Skilled Nursing services, primary and acute healthcare, physical/occupational/speech therapy, social work services, pastoral counseling, life enrichment and fitness opportunities to Carol Woods’ residents.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and support duties for the many types of services in the Well-Being department
- Coordinate special projects
- Conduct audits of medical records and documentation
- Collect data and prepare reports for quality improvement efforts
- Coordinate logistics and promotion for staff and resident education programs
- Provide pet care for community pets (such as feeding birds, fish, etc.)
- Create and distribute materials to communicate with staff, residents and families about events and services
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or comparable education/experience.
- 1-3 years in an administrative support role or comparable experience.
- Experience in the field of aging services and/or health services preferred.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and coordinate people and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with electronic health records preferred.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Full-Time: Monday through Friday, 7:30-4
